Acton, Boxborough town notes: ABCC will present Our World Film Series - Wicked Local Acton, 4/24/18

The Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council is hosting the Our World Film Series over the next weeks, with three feature films from around the world, FREE for cinema fans.  - Action Unlimited, 4/27/2015

The Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency that promotes arts, humanities and interpretive sciences for Massachusetts residents and communities, funds the ABCC, a 10-member group, with members serving a three-year term. Its subgroup is the Film Series Subcommittee. For the Our World Film Series, the group identifies films that aren’t available at Acton’s or Boxborough’s libraries to screen and features speakers who have something to do with the culture of the foreign country where the film is from, followed by a discussion period.  - Wicked Local Acton, 4/30/2015
